Nothing says I love you to your pooch better than a little extra attention.  Celebrate your dog's special day with these party ideas you and your kids (or just you!) can do for a fun family event.

Quick and Easy 
Dog Birthday Cake:   1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 2/3 cups milk 1/4 cup butter 1 egg 1/3 can of dog food   In a bowl combine flour and baking powder.  Add milk, butter and egg.  Beat with an electric mixer on low speed till combined.  Beat on medium speed for one minute.  Fold in dog food and mix with a spoon.  Pour batter into a greased and floured 8x1 1/2 inch round baking pan. Bake in 350 oven for 25-30 minutes.  Can use plain yogurt for icing.  Decorate with bacon bits or dog food kibble.
